Join us on Saturday, July 13th, (after Skate Club) for this year's Prime Youth Skateboard Competition. It's going to be a great day filled with traditional skateboard competition vibes.

The format

Each age category will have qualifier heats, where all skaters compete together to impress the judges. The top 8 skaters chosen by the judges will advance to the Final.

Qualifier heats will include a 15-minute warm-up window per category, followed by a 10-minute window per heat to accommodate as many 45-second runs as possible.

The best run score will count towards qualification.

Note:

• Each Heat will have a max of 6 skaters

• Each Heat will last 10-15min ( will depend on entries)


Final Prizes:

Sub 9:
Boys Top 3 + best trick (4 prize bags)
Girls Top 3 + best trick (4 prize bags)

Sub 12:
Boys Top 3 + best trick (4 prize bags)
Girls Top 3 + best trick (4 prize bags)

Sub 16:
Boys Top 3 + best trick (4 prize bags)
Girls Top 3 + best trick (4 prize bags)

General Running of the Day:

Registration and Check-in open @ 11:30 – 12:30
Every kid that enters the event will be given a wristband band, allowing them to skate
during the event and after-party.

All kids can warm up and skate between 11:30 and 13:00.
A BBQ will be held, and parents and kids can get food.
Qualifiers

SUB 9 starts at around 13:00
All Sub 9 competitors will have a 15-minute warm-up before their heats.
Heat 1 will start at 13:15.
Each Heat will last 10 minutes, and each rider will have 45 seconds of runs or until they fall.
Each Skater will have around 8-10 runs.

SUB 12 starts at around 14:00
All Sub 9 competitors will have a 15-minute warm-up before their heats.
Heat 1 will start at 14:15.
Each Heat will last 10 minutes, and each rider will have 45 seconds of runs.
Each Skater will have around 8-10 runs.

SUB starts at around 15:00
All Sub 9 competitors will have a 15-minute warm-up before their heats.
Heat 1 will start at 15:15.

Each Heat lasts for 10 minutes, and each rider will have 45 second runs.

Each Skater will have around 8-10 runs.

Finals

Sub 9: Starts at around 16:30 with a 10min Final Heat.
Sub 12: Warm up after the Sub 9 Final is over.

Start at 17:00 with a 10min Final Heat
Sub 16: Warm up after the Sub 12 Final is over.
Start at 17:30 with a 10min Final Heat

Prizes

Prices and celebrations at 18:00-18:15
The skatepark will then be open until 2100 for a free skate.
