Local Delivery

Same Day Local Delivery - Plymouth, Torquay & Exeter

Local Delivery is a great new service which can get your order to your door today! 
Simply order before 2pm and if we cover your area, you'll get your order the same evening between 4 and 7pm Monday - Friday.

We will adhere to strict social distancing and contact free delivery guidelines. When we delivery your item we will place your parcel at the shipping address front door, ring the doorbell or knock and then step back by at least 2 meters from the parcel. As a proof of delivery, it is required that we take a photo of the customer/tenant who answers the door with the parcel clearly in shot. Don’t worry, this is just for our records.

All orders must be placed before 4pm to qualify for same day dispatch. We offer 2 courier shipping / delivery options:

We recommend Royal Mail for UK deliveries and DPD for any next day requirements or foreign customers. All Next Day Delivery service and international shipments are handled by DPD.

Royal Mail and DPD who have both implemented contact free delivery solutions. During this time, we cannot be held responsible for possible delays in the however customer feedback is suggesting that many deliveries are arriving far sooner than expected. Royal Mail

Royal Mail typically deliver within 2 - 3 days but we ask our customers to allow up to 5 days just to be safe. If you haven’t received your order after 5 days, please get in touch at info@primedelux.com. Our customer service team will open an investigation with Royal Mail and ensure that you are well informed during the process.

Tracking
Where applicable you will be sent a tracking code and a link by email to view the status of your shipment after your order has been dispatched. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours from receipt of your tracking code before you see any updates/progress.

Missed Delivery
If the delivery is missed, Royal Mail may leave your order in a safe place, with a neighbour or take the parcel back to your local Post Office or Depot for collection. Your postman will leave a calling card explaining where your parcel is and what to do next. If your parcel has been taken back to your local Post Office or Depot, Royal Mail will hold your parcel for 10 days and thereafter return the parcel back to us.

 

DPD

DPD fulfil all Next Day Delivery and weekend delivery services. To stay up to date with your shipment we recommended downloading and installing the DPD app. Within the DPD app you can setup delivery preferences including a safe place so that DPD have the best chance of getting your order to you as quickly as possible. DPD deliver between 7:30 am – 6pm and all deliveries must be signed for unless you have specified a safe place. Contact Free Delivery
DPD offer the industry-leading "Predict and Follow My Parcel" services and have now added a contact free delivery process recognising that some people may be self-isolating and unwilling or unable to open their door to receive parcels. You can download the DPD app and set your delivery preferences to leave in a safe place. If you don't have the DPD app you can select Leave Safe in their in-flight options, if you allow DPD to do so. You can also leave a note on your front door informing the DPD driver of where to leave your parcel and the DPD driver will take a photo as proof of delivery. Without the leave in a safe place instruction, DPD drivers will not deliver the parcel. Here's a copy of the new notification we will be sending to you to make sure you know about leaving a note on your door:

Covid 19 Update

 

Tracking
Once your order has been shipped you will receive a one hour delivery window via SMS or email notification. The notification will allow you to track the progress of your parcel on a map and display an estimated delivery time within the one hour window. At any time up to the delivery of your parcel you can reply to the SMS or email notification with one of three options if you can no longer accept the delivery during the given one hour window, these options are:
  • leave with a neighbour
  • leave in a safe place
  • deliver on a different day

Missed Delivery
If you are not at home at the time of an attempted delivery, DPD will leave a calling card with instructions on what to do next.

 

 

COVID-19 – DON’T WORRY, WE’VE GOT THIS

Due to the current COVID-19 situation we want to reassure our customers that we are following all of the Government guidelines while still offering our usual services.

As per the recommended guidelines, Prime Skatepark is temporarily closed but you can continue to shop online at primedelux.com as we are still processing orders daily and will be on-site to fulfil any Click & Collect orders. As well as continuing to ship orders and maintain our Click & Collect service, we recently began offering Local Delivery which has now been adapted to be contact free.
