Prime was first created on the 14th of October 2008 when Plymouth needed a physical skateboard shop.
With a consistent history in local skateboarding, we emerged as "Prime Skateboarding" to support Plymouth with a dedicated skateboard shop. We were initially hesitant about using "Prime" as we are more humble than the name suggests, so to tone it down, we capitalised the "i" and used a child-like, crayon-styled font. We then brought a little history forward in our "O.G Logo" which features the same style of the letter "M" that we used in the name of our past Skatepark in 2004, "The Domain". Our classic bold Prime font with the pointy 'M' has made the O.G Prime Logo the most recognisable over all these years and still to this day.
