On Wednesday 21st June, Prime Plymouth will be joining the international skateboarding community in celebrating Go Skate Day 2023. The annual observance began some 19 years ago in 2004, the brainchild of the IASC (International Association of Skateboarding Companies) and has grown in popularity steadily ever since.
The day was devised in order to promote events around the globe that make skateboarding more accessible to all - a vision that is wholeheartedly shared by Prime Plymouth. The aim is to promote the positive aspects of skateboarding for the individual and the wider community. Anyone involved will already know that skateboarding is a welcoming, inclusive sport with a strong sense of support among participants. It encourages creativity and, of course, is excellent for both physical and mental health.
