DROP IN at Prime Skatepark

DROP IN at Prime Skatepark

Sound Systems, Skate Jams, & Street Food: Why the "Drop In" Takeover is Essential Local Culture.

There is something irreplaceable about a community link-up when it is done correctly. It is not just about organising a session; it is about bringing together different subcultures under one roof to create an atmosphere entirely unique to our city.

Mark your calendars: Friday, 26th June, from 5PM to 11PM, we are hosting DROP IN—a massive community skate jam and sound system takeover right here at Prime Skatepark.
The event features Free Entry to our social space for all attendees and skatepark sessions are bookable as normal. Whether you are hitting the transitions, hanging out in the Barn and social spaces, or simply soaking up the music, you are invited to get amongst it all!

🗓️ WHEN: Friday, 26th June | 5PM — 11PM
📍 WHERE: Prime Skatepark, Commercial Road, Plymouth
🎟️ ENTRY: OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The Heavyweight Local Lineup: Prime × Plymouth Flow × BNDN × Zephyr
A flyer with hand-drawn speaker stacks, disco balls, and mini-ramps signals a true collaborative effort. To build something meaningful, working alongside the independent crews who drive the local creative scene is essential.
  • The Sound: Curated by BNDN, Drop In brings together a selection of groove-led house, disco and electronic sounds throughout the evening. Having built a reputation for community-focused events across Plymouth, BNDN are helping shape the musical and creative direction of the event, bringing together skating, music and culture in one space.
  • The Fuel: A great skate session requires quality food. The legendary crew from Zephyr Burgers is rolling up their food truck to serve premium burgers, fries, and drinks throughout the entire night.

More Than Just a Skate Session
At its core, Prime Skatepark operates as a registered charity. Our primary mission has always extended beyond offering an indoor space to ride; it focuses on creating a safe, inclusive hub where people find a genuine sense of belonging.

Events like Drop In emphasise that skateboarding does not exist in a vacuum. It thrives when intersected with underground music, DIY art, and local independent businesses. Bringing together skaters, music lovers, local creatives, and the wider community allows us to blend these circles, strengthen our community roots, and remind everyone why the Plymouth scene remains exceptionally tight-knit.

Join the Crowd
No advance bookings or tickets are necessary for this outside event (Book sessions as standard). Grab your setup, round up your friends, and join the session.
Come for the skating, stay for the music, and enjoy the food. We look forward to seeing you there.
