Old Man Mondays is a weekly social gathering for ladies and gentlemen that has been gaining attention lately. It has been rumored that the BBC's Spotlight will be attending the upcoming Monday night's session to cover the fun event, "unless there is something more pressing for them to cover." It's great to receive such positive attention and have it broadcasted far and wide. If you're planning on attending, make sure to have a clean shave, put on your smoking jacket, and enjoy a civilised evening with the BBC.
Old Man Mondays are a weekly session for the older generation. Most of the guys have either been focussing on having kids or just want to relive the golden years. Now skateboarding is more acceptable, we have noticed a great interest in older “absolute beginners”. This is fine at Prime Skatepark and everyone here is there to have a laugh and help. It’s a social night with gentlemen that seem to have a unique sense of humour.

When skateboarding first emerged, there were hardly any skateboarders over the age of 30, simply because skateboarding as a sport hadn't been around that long. It wasn't considered socially acceptable either, but over time skateboarding has proven itself as a legitimate sport. All of the original skateboarders have realized that it's always possible to skate, regardless of age, and it just depends on how hard you want to push yourself. Even today, it's still enjoyable to skate in the right environment, and you can find a fun, relaxed atmosphere without any pretentious attitudes at "Prime Skatepark" every Monday night.... And there’s a bonus pub over the road!
