Carhartt WIP X Polar Skate Co. Launch Recap

Here is the full Carhartt WIP X Polar Skate Co. clip, featuring interviews of Polar “CEO” and long term Carhartt WIP rider Pontus Alv together with Jacob Ovgren and Nils Svensson talking about the collaboration. The launch was also the occasion to gather everyone involved in this project for an art-show in the Danish Carhartt WIP showroom.

Artists took part in this show were: Photographer Nils Svensson, who shot all the pictures for this project and for “Stoker” mag, Jacob Ovgren with his paintings, comics and board graphics and Stefan Narancic + Pontus Alv with their artworks.
The CPH launch was also a really good excuse for the two crews to shred the Fælledparken skatepark and CPH streets for few days. Enjoy!

Bordeaux was the second city chosen for the Carhartt WIP X PSC launch and wasn’t obviously a random choice. Indeed, Bordeaux is offering an impressive skate scene and a strong DIY influence especially with the creation of Darwin in 2012, hosting the largest DIY skatepark around. Moreover Bordeaux is both – Paul Grund, PSC team rider and RIOT exclusive French Polar distributor ‘s hometown. Enough good reasons to hit the DIY and share a beer!
